Lacoste‘s Fall/Winter 2024 collection, unveiled at Paris Fashion Week, marks a return to the brand’s tennis heritage under the new creative direction of Greek-American designer Pelagia Kolotouros. Kolotouros staged the energetic show at the iconic Roland Garros stadium, the very courts where René Lacoste, the brand’s founder, achieved his legendary Davis Cup victory in 1927.
The collection, titled “Victory of 1927,” is a reimagining of classic Lacoste pieces with a modern twist. Powerful silhouettes dominate, featuring the iconic crocodile logo emblazoned on both sleek suiting and statement wool overcoats. The brand’s signature 1933 polo shirt gets a refresh in fleece, paired with pleated skirts and elongated belts for a dynamic look.

Technical outerwear like trench coats and nylon ensembles exude movement, while ultra-baggy tracksuits and racket-printed tees add a playful touch. Archival “Chemise Lacoste” labels adorn graphic knitwear and sharp blazers, while the brand’s classic white and green colorway features prominently on puffer jackets and off-shoulder dresses.
Kolotouros takes inspiration from vintage game photos, incorporating lightweight garments with a winning spirit. Silver-trimmed details add a modern edge, completing a collection that celebrates Lacoste’s legacy with a fresh perspective.
