Naples-based fashion house Kiton has ventured into jewelry design with its first jewelry collection, aptly named “Tailored Gems.” This debut jewelry line will be available exclusively in the United States.
Creative director Maria Giovanna Paone explained that the collection reflects the Kiton family’s longstanding admiration for the artistry and timeless craftsmanship of goldsmithing. “This collection stems from the Kiton family’s passion for art and goldsmithing, one of the oldest art forms,” said Paone.
The city of Naples, where Kiton is based, is widely known for its outstanding goldsmithing heritage. Since medieval times, Naples’ Borgo Orefici neighborhood has been known for its outstanding jewelry artisans. In 1380, Queen Joanna I of Anjou officially established the Goldsmiths’ Guild there, cementing the area’s historic importance in jewelry making. Notable masterpieces, including the famous statues and furnishings of the Treasure of St. Gennaro, originated in this region. To preserve this extraordinary tradition, Kiton collaborated with a prestigious family-owned Neapolitan jewelry workshop.
Kiton’s first jewelry collection is inspired by the brand’s expertise in tailoring. At the heart of the designs is the circle, a shape that symbolizes harmony, eternity and balance. This circular motif mirrors the iconic red dot of the Kiton logo, an emblem familiar to fashion enthusiasts.
Small circular elements are linked together to create graceful and fluid pieces of jewelry. The collection offers a range of necklaces in lavish pavé settings, available in a variety of lengths and styles. Rings and bracelets complement these pieces, presented in luxurious tones.

Materials selected for the jewelry include classic white gold and diamonds, warm yellow gold accented with brown diamonds, and striking blue sapphires. The blue sapphire hue references the vibrant colors of the Gulf of Naples, a recurring inspiration in Kiton’s fashion collections.
Customers seeking personalized elegance will appreciate the ability to choose the stones for their jewelry. Rings designed with hollow centers accommodate customizable gemstone selections, allowing wearers to express individual style.
