| ✨ Kith and On launch the new K-Tech Series collaboration 👟 Two sneakers debut the line: K-Tech 1 and K-Tech 2 🏃 K-Tech 1 designed primarily for running performance 🧢 K-Tech 2 positioned as an everyday lifestyle sneaker ⚙️ Both models built on On’s Cloudswift platform 🫧 CloudTec cushioning paired with dual-density Helion foam 🎨 Six colorways split between neutral tones and bold greens 📱 Release starts with a draw on the Kith app 🛍️ Remaining pairs expected via Kith stores, website and app |

The concept is simple: two models designed for different parts of your week. The K-Tech 1 is designed for running. The K-Tech 2 is positioned for lifestyle wear – the sneaker that can handle errands, commutes, and those long pauses when running shoes are worn for reasons unrelated to mileage. Interestingly, both pairs still rely on On’s Cloudswift platform, a choice that signals practical intent rather than pure nostalgia.
The defining feature of the Cloudswift sits underfoot, where arch-like cutouts create a segmented look and a ride tuned for neutral strides on city pavement. The sole unit uses Cloud-Tech cushioning and a dual-density Helion foam midsole. On has popularized these materials through relentless product releases and a distinctive visual identity. Kith’s influence is evident in the monogram outsole pattern and the box logo hangtag on the lateral side, reminding us that Ronnie Fieg’s brand never forgets the collector’s impulse.

Both shoes have an upper made of open mesh with synthetic suede overlays. The obvious selling point is breathability, but the overlays also add structure, which matters when a shoe is expected to transition from performance to everyday wear. Kith and On claim the uppers are original, and the differences between the two models support that claim. The K-Tech 1 uses finer mesh and slimmer synthetic suede panels, giving it a slightly leaner appearance. The K-Tech 2 looks fuller and more assertive; the branding follows suit. An On logo incorporating Kith’s box logo is prominently placed on the lateral side of the K-Tech 2, while the paired mark appears on the medial side of the K-Tech 1.
Color also plays a role in distinguishing the two models. The K-Tech 1 comes in black, tofu, and tofu and sea moss. The K-Tech 2 comes in white and real teal, thorn and ganache, and spirulina and barley. The names feel like modern sneaker retail shorthand: calm neutrals for everyday wear and sharper greens and teals for those who want their shoes to stand out.

Kith’s history with On helps explain the partnership. According to Fieg in a recent teaser video, their first collaboration surfaced years after early development and leaned into his initials on On’s Roger silhouettes, including the Clubhouse Mid and the Roger Pro. A Cloudzone sneaker followed in 2025. These releases suggested a shared affinity for tennis-inspired shapes and clean styling. The K-Tech pairs shift the focus to running, a category that is more difficult to fake because feet quickly notice bad design.
Availability will reward the organized. A drawing is scheduled to run from Wednesday through Thursday via the Kith app. Any remaining stock is expected to be released on Friday via the Kith app, website, and stores. The rollout will also include apparel, featuring reworked takes on On’s core pieces: jackets, tees, tanks, sports bras, shorts, and pants, plus running accessories, which have already begun to appear.
