Blackpink‘s Jisoo is the face of Self-Portrait‘s Pre-Fall 2024 campaign. The South Korean idol showcased a range of looks from the London-based fashion label’s latest collection, hand-picked by Jisoo herself during the shoot in a Seoul recording studio.
Captured through the lens of photographer Yoon Jiyong, Jisoo effortlessly transitioned from casual off-duty denim and relaxed twinset knits to stunning partywear and elegant evening gowns. The diverse range of outfits, featuring Self-Portrait’s signature guipure lace, soft denim and luxurious taffeta, highlighted Jisoo‘s ability to embrace and elevate any style.
Han Chong, founder and Creative director of Self-Portrait, praised Jisoo’s versatility and experimental approach to fashion. “What I have come to discover through working with Jisoo is that she is a real chameleon and loves to experiment with her wardrobe,” said Chong. The decision to shoot the campaign in a recording studio aimed to capture Jisoo’s authentic self, as it is a place where she feels at home and truly comes to life.

To celebrate the launch of the campaign, Self-Portrait will host a series of immersive installations and pop-ups in Seoul and London. The London pop-up will recreate the backdrop of a recording studio, allowing visitors to experience the collection firsthand, including the pieces Jisoo selected for the campaign. Meanwhile, the Seoul installation will showcase the campaign imagery in eye-catching, large-scale formats.
Since 2017, Self-Portrait has dressed Jisoo for both on-stage and off-stage performances. Most notably, Jisoo wore Self-Portrait designs for the release of her solo album “ME” in 2023. This campaign also marks Jisoo’s first project since launching her own agency, Blissoo, and her debut as the face of a contemporary fashion label, according to Chong.
As a Dior ambassador, the face of Cartier’s Trinity Centenary campaign and the face of Alo Yoga’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection, Jisoo’s fashion portfolio is as impressive as her musical achievements.
