In the year of its 100th anniversary, Italian luxury jeweler Damiani has appointed Academy Award winner Jessica Chastain as its global ambassador. The acclaimed actress will grace Damiani’s Spring 2024 advertising campaign, continuing the brand’s tradition of collaborating with celebrated personalities.
Chastain expressed her excitement for the partnership, saying, “I am delighted to be Damiani’s global ambassador and to represent the values of this wonderful company throughout the world. One hundred years of history, passion, craftsmanship [and] creativity are an important legacy worth preserving. It is an honor for me to be a part of a family that safeguards and passes on Italy’s artisanal excellence worldwide.”
Last month, Chastain co-hosted a gala evening in Milan to celebrate Damiani’s centennial, which was attended by iconic figures such as Sophia Loren and Lee Sung-Kyoung, as well as local celebrities. The actress dazzled in a strapless dark gown, adorned with the “Mimosa Eternal Blue” necklace, featuring a stunning 100-carat blue sapphire surrounded by diamonds. This exceptional piece is one of the unique creations featured in Damiani’s ongoing exhibition at Milan’s Gallerie d’Italia, which highlights the brand’s craftsmanship and creativity until April 28th.
Guido Damiani, the company’s president, warmly welcomed Chastain to the Damiani family, praising her authenticity and alignment with the brand’s values. “Jessica is a sophisticated, committed, acclaimed woman, but most of all, she is authentic and true to her values – just like us. Together, I am sure we will do great things and achieve important new goals,” he said.
The Hollywood star joins South Korean actress and model Lee Sung-Kyoung as a Damiani ambassador.
Founded in 1924 by Enrico Grassi Damiani in Valenza, Italy, the high-end jeweler has garnered a loyal following of celebrities including Sharon Stone, Tilda Swinton, Sophia Loren and Gwyneth Paltrow. The Damiani Group includes several esteemed brands such as Bliss, Calderoni, Rocca, and renowned glassmaker Venini.
