French fashion designer Simon Porte Jacquemus has once again captivated the fashion world with his latest collection “Les Sculptures” for the Spring/Summer 2024 season. Known for his ability to weave rich narratives into his designs, Jacquemus draws inspiration from the world of sculpture for this innovative collection.
The “Les Sculptures” campaign, shot by photographer Théo de Gueltzl, features the stunning Dutch top model Imaan Hammam as the face of the collection. Known for her striking beauty and powerful presence, Hammam perfectly embodies the essence of Jacquemus’ vision. Styled by Katie Burnett, with hair by Ramona Eschbach, Hammam brings the collection to life in a series of captivating images.
Jacquemus drew inspiration for “Les Sculptures” from the work of renowned Swiss artist Alberto Giacometti, whose sculptures were exhibited at La Foundation Maeght, the art gallery where the collection was presented. By infusing his designs with sculptural elements, Jacquemus creates garments that transcend mere clothing and become wearable works of art.
