Rocco Iannone, who has been at the helm of Ferrari‘s fashion evolution since late 2019, presented the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, marking a clear shift towards wearability and craftsmanship. While maintaining the brand’s signature racing spirit, Iannone delved deeper into the desires of Ferrari enthusiasts, drawing inspiration from the 13,000-strong global community of Ferrari Owners Clubs. This dedication to understanding the needs of real-life Ferrari enthusiasts was evident throughout the collection.

The collection opened with a rich palette of bronze-brown tones reminiscent of a vintage Ferrari, setting the tone for a sophisticated and refined aesthetic. Smooth leather jumpsuits, biker jackets and skirts in a lustrous nut-brown, along with khaki cotton and green fluoro technical fabrics, showcased Iannone’s commitment to luxurious yet practical pieces. Airy foulard ensembles in a retro aerodynamic print and a striking red skirt paid homage to Ferrari’s racing heritage. The collection culminated in a trio of looks made from a weave of interlinked embroidered prancing horses, a testament to Iannone’s understanding of the brand’s loyal fan base.

Iannone’s expertise in fabric research shone through with the introduction of new materials and treatments. Brushed denim with marbled effects added a cool edge to miniskirts, jackets and bags. Ferrari’s commitment to sustainability was evident in the expanded use of Q-Cycle satin, a material made from recycled tires, now incorporated into knitwear and technical twill treatments.

The color palette expanded beyond the brand’s iconic red to explore shades of tobacco and terracotta, reflecting a more nuanced approach. Sleek tailoring in a striking ochre with red lining, intricate 3D graphic ribbons depicting the Prancing Horse on skirts and jackets, and flowing blouses with hand-painted brushstrokes reminiscent of 1970s steering wheels added depth and sophistication.

Accessories played a key role, with driving ballerinas reimagined as sandals, pumps and boots. The Maranello clutch in Radica leather exuded luxury. A new handbag, inspired by factory toolboxes and punctuated with metal studs and repurposed leather fringe, added a utilitarian edge. This fringe, a subtle nod to the prancing horse’s mane, also adorned the heels of stiletto sandals. Futuristic, masked eyewear completed the looks and added a touch of the avant-garde.
