Erdem and Barbour join forces once again for a standalone collection. This marks another chapter in their ongoing partnership, building on their Spring/Summer 2024 runway collaboration. The new Erdem x Barbour collection features four of Barbour’s classic outerwear styles – Beauflower, Dhalia, Clover and Constance – each adorned with Erdem’s signature floral motifs in sand and olive tones.
Erdem Moralıoğlu, the creative force behind Erdem, was inspired by the late Duchess of Devonshire, Deborah Cavendish. “I was inspired by the extraordinary Barbour archive, particularly their fabrications and hardware, and loved the idea of translating their heritage of practical, utilitarian details and combining it with my language of the feminine,” Moralıoğlu explained. The result is a collection that blends Barbour’s rugged functionality with Erdem’s romantic aesthetic.

Nicola Brown, Barbour’s director of womenswear, highlighted the synergy between the two brands. “This collection marries the timeless craftsmanship and quality of both brands, taking Erdem’s romantic and contemporary approach, combined with our most iconic silhouettes and wax fabrics,” said Brown. The pieces feature patchwork waxed cottons, etched floral overprints and inky rose blossoms alongside utilitarian details like detachable hoods.
For a sustainable touch, the collaboration includes a “Re-Loved” initiative. Twenty-five pre-owned Beaufort jackets have been reworked with oversized corduroy collars and silver hardware eyelets, inspired by Erdem’s Spring/Summer 2024 runway show.
The collection is available now from Barbour‘s website and select retailers, with prices ranging from £69.95 for a wax hood to £679 for the Beauflower Wax Jacket.
