Emily Ratajkowski rocks denim for the November 2022 ‘’The Home Issue’’ cover of Harper’s Bazaar US. Shot by photographer Amy Troost, she wears an oversized jean jacket and pants by Balenciaga, along with pumps for the cover image.
For the cover story, the model, actor and author poses in eye-catching outfits from the Fall/Winter 2022 collections. Emily Ratajkowski shows off designs from labels such as Loewe, Michael Kors Collection, Burberry, Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs, Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton and Chanel. Zara Mirkin is in charge of Emily’s styling for this shoot.
Inside the magazine, Ratajkowski discusses motherhood, feminism, her upcoming podcast and the pressures of her platform. On the responsibility she has when sharing images on social media, she tells Thessaly La Force: “I completely understand that sexualizing myself and putting images out into the world that reinforce the beauty standard is difficult. I’m not trying to shake accountability. But I also don’t think I would have sold as many books had I not done that. That’s the way the world works. I mean we all participate in systems that we don’t agree with“.
