This latest collaboration between Dr. Martens and MM6 Maison Margiela is poised to bring a fresh, avant-garde perspective to classic footwear. This new capsule introduces two hybrid models, both presented in an eye-catching all-white finish that reflects the minimalist aesthetic of the Parisian fashion house. The collection continues to explore deconstructing familiar shapes to create unexpected designs.

The footwear lineup features two distinct styles. The first model combines the upper of the iconic 1460 eight-eye boot with the lower silhouette of the 1461 three-eye shoe. This design includes a reinforced toe cap and features subtle MM6 Maison Margiela branding embossed on the upper. The second model is a creative take on a slip-on that appears to be a 1461 lace-up shoe with the accessible structure of a Penton loafer, illustrating the “shoe within a shoe” concept.
Both models are crafted from a combination of smooth and virginia leathers to maintain a clean, uniform look. Key details include tonal welt stitching and a custom white AirWair heel loop, adding a unique touch to the monochromatic design. The shoes are built on the classic air-cushioned DMS sole, staying true to the British brand’s heritage. During the Spring-Summer 2025 runway show, this collection was previewed with styles covered in white paint, and this release captures that same disruptive spirit in a refined way.

The Dr. Martens x MM6 Maison Margiela capsule collection is available starting July 17, 2025. You can find the collection on the official websites of both brands, as well as in select retail stores and with key multi-brand partners. The 1460/1461 hybrid is priced at €350, and the Penton/1461 hybrid will be available for €320.
