Deva Cassel, the rising model and actress and daughter of famous actors Vincent Cassel and Monica Bellucci, has been named Dior‘s new global fashion and make-up ambassador.
Commenting on her new role, Cassel expressed her deep admiration for the House of Dior, saying, “I have always had enormous respect for the house of Dior, and the feminine and refined image that they conveyed has always made me dream.”
Born in Rome and raised in France and Brazil, Cassel’s journey in the fashion world began at the tender age of 16, when she made her debut on magazine covers and graced the runways during fashion weeks.

When asked about her earliest memories of Dior, Cassel recalled a vintage photograph that captured her imagination as a child. “The first thing that comes to mind is a picture of a vintage Dior photo that particularly triggered my imagination when I was younger, which depicts a female silhouette with a large hat – elegance and mystery in a single image,” she shared, highlighting the brand’s timeless appeal.
As Dior’s global ambassador, Cassel aims to represent today’s young women while honoring the house’s rich heritage. She describes her personal fashion style as “casual chic,” with a penchant for mixing masculine and feminine elements and experimenting with different combinations. “In my everyday life, I like to wear fairly oversize pieces and mix a masculine and feminine style,” she explained, adding, “But I also love trying out new things and [blending] clothes. So, you can imagine how grateful I am to Dior for the fact that I have occasions to dress up.”
In her new role, Cassel will showcase the exquisite creations of Maria Grazia Chiuri, Dior’s Artistic director for women’s collections, as well as the stunning cosmetics developed by Peter Philips, the house’s Creative and Image director for make-up. Her first appearance as a Dior ambassador will be in a campaign for the brand’s Summer 2024 beauty collection, which launches on April 1st.
