For its newest collaboration, COS has partnered with Austrian artist Anatol Knotek, known for his visually impactful black and white work.
This collection, in keeping with the ongoing dialogues between COS and the artists who inspire its designs, captures Anatol Knotek’s typography and monochrome palette. Partially colorblind, Knotek replaces color and lines with words, preferring to work with language to craft powerful works. His seemingly simple creations often carry a hidden message with a touch of humor. The aptly named The Solution is the founding work of the capsule collection, where The problem fades into The poem.
“Literature is descriptive by nature, visual art is sensual by nature – so the possibilities for expressive play are endless“, explains Anatol Knotek.
This unisex collection consists of four timeless pieces at COS: two color-reversed t-shirts, a tote bag and a mulberry silk scarf.
