Coach‘s latest collection for Fall/Winter 2025 blends the raw energy of 1990s skate culture with refined craftsmanship, offering women a wardrobe built on ease, nostalgia and sustainability. Designer Stuart Vevers channels the gritty charm of downtown New York through slouchy silhouettes, reimagined archival pieces and a muted palette of black, navy and earthy browns – proving that timeless style doesn’t require pretension.
Wide-legged pants dominate the lineup, their exaggerated hems draped over sneakers or furry bunny slippers for an irreverent touch. These voluminous trousers are balanced by tailored outerwear – think Matrix-inspired coats with narrow shoulders and shrunken shearling aviators. Vevers contrasts structure with rebellion: think slip dresses with leather patches or baby-doll t-shirts layered under menswear-inspired blazers. The result feels lived-in, like discovering treasures in a thrift store, but with the precision that only Coach’s craftsmanship can deliver.

Sustainability anchors the collection. Upcycled denim appears in faded jeans patched with leather scraps, while vintage flapper dresses are reborn from archival fabrics. Even the accessories nod to eco-consciousness, with bags made from repurposed materials and straps adjusted to awkwardly perfect proportions. The commitment extends beyond aesthetics; Vevers emphasizes the growth of denim capsules in stores to meet the demand for conscious choices.
Three new bag styles steal the show – compact, zippered silhouettes with straps that defy conventional lengths. Designed to casually dangle from the hand or shoulder, they’re adorned with plush creature charms (a Coach signature) that nod to childhood whimsy. Shoes range from diamond-studded sneakers to shearling-lined loafers that combine practicality with a touch of camp.
Casting plays a key role. Models of diverse backgrounds stride confidently in looks that feel borrowed from a cooler older sibling’s closet. The collection’s darker hues and distressed textures reflect today’s craving for authenticity, while subtle grunge references-scrawled graphics, slouchy knits-keep it grounded in urban reality.
