For Fall/Winter 2022, the focal point of her collection was “rewilding” – “a progressive approach to conservation that centers on allowing nature to take care of itself”.
“By enabling natural processes to repair damaged ecosystems and restore degraded landscapes, wildlife’s natural rhythms can ultimately create more biodiverse habitats”, she wrote in the show notes.
Hearst continued to hone in on responsible climate solutions for Chloé’s approach for sustainable womenswear, creating a conversation about the origin of the source rather than the composition of the material. Full leather ensembles included biker trenches, calfskin boots, backpacks, and clutches. Cashmere was the other dominant material, expressed through tank tops and intricately dyed ponchos.
A neutral color palette of sand-coloured leathers, with black and white staples offered the perfect daywear capsule wardrobe.
