Bottega Veneta creative director Matthieu Blazy has revealed the Spring/Summer 2023 campaign for the Italian brand.
In the Bottega Veneta Spring/Summer 2023 campaign, titled “Andiamo” (meaning “Let’s go” in Italian), the House’s newly unveiled Andiamo Bag takes center stage. A contemporary rendition of Bottega’s iconic intrecciato weave, the large tote-style bag is a tribute to the spirit of exploration and the joy of discovering new places.
The campaign features a diverse array of models, including fashion icons like fashion icon Kate Moss, Australian model Emma Balfour, Chinese model Chu Wong and more models, photographed against various stunning locations worldwide. Moss is depicted within a landscape crafted by Gaetano Pesce for the Bottega Veneta show, while Balfour is seen near her coastal home in Australia, captured by photographer Derek Henderson.
In addition to the Andiamo Bag, the campaign highlights some of Blazy‘s most memorable designs, such as his reinterpretation of leather essentials in faux denim, cotton tank tops, and checkered overshirts. Chiffon dresses with beaded embellishments are displayed alongside the Sardine Bag, as well as multi-textured turtleneck sweatshirts.
As a unifying element in this global voyage, the campaign’s models continually return to Milan, the heart of Italian fashion. In a mesmerizing campaign film directed by Massimiliano Bomba, each character converges in the bustling city, capturing the attention of passersby and embodying the essence of the Bottega Veneta Spring/Summer 2023 collection.
