Italian fashion house Bottega Veneta has transformed the top floor of 740 Madison Avenue into an exclusive sanctuary, marking a significant expansion of its presence in New York’s luxury district. Located above its flagship boutique, the new Residence represents a sophisticated fusion of Venetian heritage and Manhattan’s contemporary elegance.
Creative director Matthieu Blazy personally curated this remarkable space, bringing together exceptional pieces that speak to both cultures.
The space features remarkable design elements, including a Murano glass chandelier that commands attention upon entry. A distinctive gondola-shaped sofa by Adrian Pearsall serves as a central conversation piece, while carefully selected works by renowned designers Gino Sarfatti and Achille Castiglioni complete the sophisticated ambiance.
Within these refined walls, private clients have access to unprecedented services. The Residence offers preview sessions of upcoming collections, personal styling consultations and custom ordering options.
The Madison Avenue location follows the first Residence, which opened last June in Venice’s Palazzo Soranzo Van Axel.
Supporting artisanal craftsmanship remains central to the brand’s mission. Through its “Bottega for Bottegas” program, launched in 2021, the Residence showcases the work of talented artisans from the Veneto region, preserving traditional skills while introducing them to new audiences.
The venue introduces an exclusive fine jewelry collection available only at the Madison and Venice locations, further reinforcing its position as a destination for discerning luxury consumers.
Plans for further global expansion, including a third Residence in Japan and new stores in Tokyo, Sydney and Las Vegas, underscore the brand’s strategic growth trajectory.
