Dutch model Birgit Kos is the center of attention on the “Travel Issue” cover of Wallpaper* Magazine’s June 2025 issue, bringing fierce energy to the magazine’s latest editorial vision. The Dutch top model poses alongside a vintage Chevrolet convertible in an eye-catching red ensemble that perfectly captures Las Vegas’s electric atmosphere.
Theresa Marx led the creative team for this ambitious shoot, which unfolded across the iconic Las Vegas Strip. The London-based photographer chose the entertainment capital as her backdrop, drawn to what she describes as a city where “anything goes.” Marx envisioned Kos as “the archetype of her own destiny,” embodying the self-assured spirit that defines the model and the city itself.
Fashion and creative director Jason Hughes curated an all-red wardrobe that rivals the spectacle of Vegas. The cover look features a striking Loewe dress, Wolford tights, and Ferragamo shoes, accessorized with Alexis Bittar earrings. Throughout the editorial spread, Kos models pieces from luxury brands, including Louis Vuitton, Bottega Veneta, Roberto Cavalli, Valentino, and Balenciaga.
During their single-day shoot, the production team captured multiple Las Vegas landmarks. Key locations included the famous Las Vegas sign, the panoramic suites of the Bellagio hotel, and various spots along the Strip.
Hairstylist Erin Piper created Kos’s sleek looks, and make-up artist Allie Smith enhanced the model’s natural beauty. Nico handled the casting, and Sheriff Production managed the production.
