Thai actor and singer Billkin has been named Gucci‘s newest brand ambassador, further strengthening the Italian luxury fashion house’s ties with Thailand. The 25-year-old star, whose real name is Putthipong Assaratanakul, has captivated audiences with his award-winning performances in television series such as “I Told Sunset About You” and “I Promised You the Moon.” In addition to his acting skills, Billkin has also showcased his musical talents, releasing singles under his own label, Billkin Entertainment, and performing to sold-out crowds in Bangkok and China.
Since 2021, Billkin has cultivated a relationship with Gucci by participating in its events in Thailand, such as the Gucci Ancora screening, which showcased the Spring/Summer 2024 collection in Bangkok, and the opening of the brand’s new store in Phuket. “Through my collaboration with Gucci over the past years, I have developed a profound admiration for its opulent and remarkable heritage,” said Billkin upon his appointment. “The brand’s fundamental principles lie in its dedication to innovation while upholding its emblematic symbols and superb craftsmanship.”
