In the Salle Pleyel decorated in the style of his famous Teatro in Via Borgonuovo in Milan, Giorgio Armani unveiled his Fall/Winter 2022 Armani Privé Haute Couture collection, a “petillant” – or sparkling – collection placed under the sign of freedom, frivolity and 1920s madness.
The collection distilled the aesthetics of that decade with its sleek shapes, shiny surfaces, rich colors and Art Deco- or Oriental-inspired patterns.
Beaded jackets, sophisticated blazers and fitted pants, but also full skirts and voluminous dresses in shiny tulle, suit jackets, lengthened and associated with flowing pants, sometimes orientalized, bustier dresses and evening dresses with crinoline.
The palette of the collection varied from whites and blacks to midnight blues and pinks as intense as they were chic.
