Inside the magazine, Alia Bhatt opened up about her experiences in an intimate conversation, revealing the challenges and joys of her current life phase.
Bhatt, who has been in the limelight since her childhood, has always had a natural flair for acting. However, her recent roles have showcased her evolution as an artist, and her fashion choices have begun to turn heads, earning her an invitation to the MET Gala.
Despite her busy schedule, Bhatt is deeply committed to her role as a mother. She recently celebrated her five-month-old daughter Raha’s milestone of recognizing and touching her face. However, she admits to feeling the pressure of being a ”perfect” mother and a successful actress simultaneously. “There’s so much pressure on women to ace both…almost like this old-school dogma that once you have a baby, you have to martyr your career or you’re not a model mum“, she shared.
Bhatt also spoke about her husband, Ranbir Kapoor’s, involvement in their daughter’s life. She described him as a hands-on father who dotes on their daughter. “He likes to sit with her in front of the window where the breeze comes in and make sure she spends a good amount of time looking at the big green plant there“, she said.
Despite the criticism she has faced throughout her career, Bhatt remains focused on her craft and her family. She believes that while her background may have given her an easy start, it’s her talent and hard work that have sustained her success.
