Air France has teamed up with French fashion designer Simon Porte Jacquemus to create an exclusive loungewear set for its La Première First Class passengers. The collaboration marks the first time the French airline has commissioned a designer to create in-flight loungewear.
Called “Le Pyjama,” the set was unveiled in Paris and will be available to passengers from Thursday. Made of navy blue cotton, the pyjama set features meticulous details that reflect both brands’ commitment to quality. A subtle nod to Air France’s heritage, the airline’s winged seahorse emblem is embroidered on the front, while the Jacquemus logo appears on a grosgrain ribbon on the back.
Presented in a playful yet sophisticated red or blue cotton pouch, the set comes in four sizes, from small to extra large. Passengers can choose between a fitted V-neck top or a more relaxed crewneck fit.
Fabien Pelous, Air France’s Director of Customer Experience, explained the significance of this collaboration: “We are proud to partner with Maison Jacquemus and its innovative creativity to design a new loungewear set exclusively available in the La Première suites. Every detail matters in creating a memorable travel experience, and this collaboration strengthens our commitment to enhancing every moment spent in this exceptional cabin.”

The collaboration doesn’t stop with loungewear. It is part of other luxurious enhancements to Air France’s La Première offering. Passengers can now enjoy Dumas Paris bedding, Sisley amenity kits and exclusive cocktails created by renowned mixologist Matthias Giroud.
The launch of “Le Pyjama” is in line with Air France’s broader strategy to enhance its premium services. The new La Première suite design offers more than 35 square meters of personal space, complete with a seat, a chaise longue that converts into a full bed, and floor-to-ceiling curtains for privacy. Adjoining suites even feature electric sliding partitions for added convenience.
Earlier this year, Air France also unveiled AF001, a signature fragrance created by Francis Kurkdjian, which will be used in select lounges and La Première suites.
