British actress Nathalie Emmanuel has been named Giorgio Armani‘s new global make-up ambassador. The Emmy and SAG Award nominee, known for her riveting performances in “Game of Thrones” and the “Fast and Furious” franchise, will lend her magnetic presence to the luxury beauty brand’s Luminous Silk foundation campaign, which launches in January.
“What attracted me to this specific product and this specific product is I love to enhance skin and fresh-faced looks,” Emmanuel said in announcing her partnership with the prestigious beauty house.
Giorgio Armani Beauty, licensed by L’Oréal, noted that “her magnetic presence has captivated audiences worldwide.” The brand emphasized that “Nathalie Emmanuel reflects the essence of modern femininity encapsulating Giorgio Armani’s make-up philosophy of revealing each person’s unique and inner beauty.”
Emmanuel’s impressive career spans television and film, with notable achievements including six Screen Actors Guild Award nominations for her portrayal of Missandei on HBO’s “Game of Thrones.” Her involvement in the “Fast and Furious” franchise has helped gross more than $4 billion worldwide.
Beyond her on-screen success, Emmanuel brings a powerful message about beauty standards and self-acceptance through her new role. Speaking about the impact of social media on perceptions of beauty, she said, “There’s high and unobtainable standards. Your unique beauty is something to be celebrated and nurtured. You don’t have to look like somebody else.”
Her recent projects include a starring role in “The Invitation” and upcoming appearances in John Woo’s “The Killer” and Francis Ford Coppola’s “Megalopolis.” Television audiences can expect her return in the third season of “Die Hart,” premiering December 13th on Roku.
