Converse and A-COLD-WALL* join forces once again to launch a groundbreaking collection that artfully blends utilitarian style with brutalist design and seasonal functionality.
The original Chuck 70 Geo Forma by Converse and A-COLD-WALL* makes a comeback, this time in a sleek black colorway, complete with an extensive line of cold-weather apparel. The shoe itself is a testament to the artistry of the Chuck 70, reimagined through a futuristic and geometric lens. Samuel Ross, the avant-garde designer behind A-COLD-WALL*, has applied his signature design ethos while embracing modern concepts of utility.
Ross paid meticulous attention to the technical fabrics used in the Geo Forma, including an expandable sock upper that contours to the foot, a laminated polyester-spandex-ripstop coating on the bottom of the sock, and an elastic collar for easy entry. The release of the Chuck 70 Geo Forma in black and iron gray is complemented by a forward-thinking collection of apparel and accessories. The line includes a winterized fleece jacket and dry bag in black, as well as a mock neck, long sleeve t-shirt and sweatpants in tannin and onyx. A hat with a removable gaiter for protection from the elements is also part of the collection and will be available in Tannin.

To bring this collection to life, Converse and A-COLD-WALL* collaborated with London-based multidisciplinary artist Abdourahman Njie, also known as Yagamoto. Marking his directorial debut, Yagamoto’s first film showcases key pieces from the collection in their natural habitat, weaving a story of audacity and courage through the use of movement and space.
“A bold apparel collection complements the new design of the futuristic and versatile boot,” said creative partner Yagamoto in his inaugural film.
The Converse x A-COLD-WALL* capsule collection will be available at A-COLD-WALL* on November 3rd and at Converse on November 7th.
