Shu Qi is the second global ambassador to join the Bottega Veneta family under Blazy’s creative direction, following Kim Nam-joon, better known as RM from BTS, who joined in March.
With her widespread popularity and an impressive career spanning nearly three decades in both box office hits and art house films, Shu Qi’s appointment is poised to amplify Bottega Veneta’s global resonance.
She starred in “Millennium Mambo“, “Three Times” and “The Assassin“, directed by the renowned Hou Hsiao-Hsien, all of which were screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
Her extensive list of awards includes three Hong Kong Film Awards, two Golden Horse Awards for Best Actress. She has also won Best Actress at the Shanghai Film Critics’ Awards, the Huabiao Awards and the Asian Film Festival. Qi’s influence extends to international film festivals, having served on the main competition juries in Berlin (2008) and Cannes (2009). This year, Qi also had the honor of serving as a jury member at the Venice International Film Festival.
In Venice, she has been spotted at major fashion events such as the Armani “One Night Only” event, as well as appearing in advertising campaigns for Michael Kors and Tom Ford Beauty, highlighting her versatility and appeal across different fields.
