Valentino has crowned the renowned Chinese actor, Yang Yang, as their newest brand ambassador. With his appointment as the latest brand ambassador, Yang Yang brings his influence and distinctive personal style to Valentino’s iconic legacy.
Captured elegantly in a series of striking visuals at the Valentino headquarters in Rome, Yang showcases the Pre-Fall 2023 collection and spotlights the Rockstud23 handbag.
Pierpaolo Piccioli, creative director of Valentino, warmly welcomed Yang to the brand’s international community. As Piccioli eloquently put it, “My dialogue with Yang is cultural, generational, multidisciplinary: a complete experience of diversity and mutual appreciation. His talent relates concretely to human emotions, and I value this a great deal”.
Yang Yang is a household name in his home country, revered as one of the most influential actors of his generation. He first burst onto the scene in 2010, with his stellar performance as Jia Baoyu in the television adaptation of “The Dream of Red Mansions“, a beloved Chinese classic. Since then, he has been a prominent fixture on TV screens and has cultivated strong ties with numerous luxury brands, including L’Oréal, CeraVe, Dunhill, Bulgari, Chandon and Coca-Cola.

The addition of Yang Yang further solidifies Valentino’s already strong presence in the Asia-Pacific region, where notable personalities like actress Sun Li, Guan Xiaotong, actor Lay Zhang and singer Li Ronghao represent the brand.
