Unfolding like a study in confidence, the Lacoste Spring-Summer 2026 collection reflects creative director Pelagia Kolotouros’s careful reshaping of the French house’s sporty heritage into something fresh, refined, and unmistakably contemporary.

Set against the backdrop of a locker room reminiscent of a tennis club, the show positioned itself immediately between athletic function and fashion polish. Kolotouros’s ongoing vision for Lacoste continues to explore that space – not through nostalgia, but through evolution. She is determined to honor René Lacoste’s founding spirit while elevating and modernizing the brand.

Kolotouros spoke of keeping the brand honest and staying true to its roots while widening its reach. This commitment came to life through reimagined wardrobe staples that bridge the gap between sport and streetwear. The collection included tufted terry polo dresses, loose green blazers, and suiting that echoed the brand’s iconic colors without being repetitive.

Texture played a defining role this season. Wet-effect nylon and translucent organza created a sense of ease and modern sensuality, evoking steam and softness rather than shine. The crew necks appeared to be purposefully widened, as though stretched by time and wear – an authentic detail that grounded the designs. These subtle choices gave the collection character without forcing it.

Color has always been a Lacoste signature, and Kolotouros handled it with precision. Clay orange, grassy green, bright “performance blue,” and a minimal palette of neutrals formed a fresh, optimistic lineup. Each tone reflected a tennis surface or sensation – the clay, the grass, the court markings. Yet, nothing felt literal or forced. Rather, the colors energized the silhouettes, many of which moved between ease and tailoring.

There was also a welcome nod to practical luxury. Roomy tracksuits appeared in soft, gently structured fabrics, with proportions that were both athletic and urban. Duffel bags in orange and pleated mock-croc handbags carried the theme of versatility forward. Even the more daring looks, such as layered sheer dresses printed with tennis rules or dotted with green dots, hinted at movement and lightness while staying true to the brand’s identity.

Eveningwear, still unfamiliar territory for Lacoste, was approached with restraint. The result felt natural, not forced – an acknowledgment of how far the house can go without losing itself.

The decision to stage this season’s show at Lycée Carnot instead of Roland Garros underlined the message. Lacoste remains connected to its roots, yet it is also confidently stepping forward into fashion’s larger arena. Kolotouros once again proved her instinct for subtle transformation, designing clothes that are wearable yet distinctly elevated.
