Paul Smith will officially join the men’s calendar at Milan Fashion Week this summer. After years of showing in Paris and a standout appearance at Pitti Uomo last summer, the designer will present his latest menswear collection at Milan Fashion Week Men’s on June 21st at 5 p.m. local time.
“For the first time ever, I’m delighted to be showing my new collection as a part of Milan Men’s Fashion Week in June,” said Smith. “I’ve proudly had my own showroom in Milan for 22 years and have great affection for the city.”
Smith has chosen his expansive showroom space at 95 Viale Umbria as the venue for what he describes as an “intimate and honest” salon-style presentation.
Although new to Milan’s official schedule, Smith is no stranger to the city. He has hosted events and presentations here before. Paul Smith usually shows his men’s collections in Paris. Just a few months ago, he opted for a more intimate, salon-style presentation at his showroom there, rather than a big runway show.
