American actor and professional race car driver Patrick Dempsey and TAG Heuer Eyewear are embarking on an exciting new chapter together. The Swiss luxury watchmaker announced that Dempsey, its brand ambassador since 2014, will now represent its eyewear collection.

In addition to acting, Dempsey owns a racing team – Dempsey Proton Racing, in partnership with Porsche – with TAG Heuer as one of its sponsors. His racing accomplishments include four appearances in the 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race, where he finished an impressive second in his class in 2015, as well as participation in Rennsport Reunion 7, the 2023 edition of the largest gathering of classic Porsche race cars and their drivers.
The new eyewear line, developed with Thélios, reflects TAG Heuer’s commitment to performance and innovation. Dempsey believes that the eyewear line is perfectly aligned with TAG Heuer’s core identity of motorsports, precision timing, competitive spirit and athleticism. He highlighted how the collection incorporates advanced technology with a focus on lightweight design, everyday functionality and quality craftsmanship.

This year, Dempsey will have many opportunities to wear and showcase TAG Heuer‘s latest eyewear. His continued work with Porsche includes projects related to the 50th anniversary of the Turbo car, as well as preparations for upcoming races.
Outside of racing, he’s also completing a documentary that follows American ski and snowboard star Jessie Biggins on her journey to becoming a world champion.
