Held on the eve of the Paris Haute Couture week, Paco Rabanne‘s Fall/Winter 2022 collection – the show was Julien Dossena’s first in three seasons to be held in front of an audience – explored an elusive intersection of future, past, present.

By deconstructing the rules of volumes and textures, the collection was modeled around the body, giving it the pleasure of discovering itself in a new and unusual way.
Naked navels, balloon skirts, silver dresses, mohair bustiers, and much more were on display.
“I was exploring textures and proportions and volumes, trying to reach a balance between conceptual and radical – which I love – and at the same time, femininity and sensuality”, Dossena said to Vogue.
