The Nike Air Max 95 OG Pink Foam is back and sneakerheads are buzzing. This revival blends the model’s iconic design with subtle updates, making it a standout release for 2024. Known for its gradient suede upper and signature pink accents, the Pink Foam colorway has gone from cult favorite to mainstream hit, thanks in part to high-profile moments and thoughtful tweaks to its construction.

Originally set to debut in 2020, the Pink Foam iteration wasn’t an immediate sensation. Its rise to prominence came after Kim Kardashian stepped out in the sneaker in 2022, sparking renewed interest. Now, Nike‘s latest retro iteration refines the formula even further. The upper retains the classic fade from black to gray synthetic suede, while hazy pink details on the lace loops, Air units, and branding provide a soft contrast. The silhouette stays true to the 1995 original, but the 2024 version introduces the coveted “Big Bubble” Air unit, a feature missing from recent reissues.
Kith founder Ronnie Fieg recently took to social media to praise the updated design. He highlighted how the “Big Bubble” not only restores the visual authenticity of the shoe, but also improves comfort. “The shape and fit mirror the ’95 original, and the larger Air unit makes a real difference in wearability,” he noted.
Comfort isn’t the only draw. The Pink Foam colorway’s appeal lies in its versatility. The muted gray and black base pairs effortlessly with casual outfits, while the pink accents add a playful touch. This balance makes the sneaker a practical choice for everyday wear, whether running errands or weekend getaways.
Nike’s decision to focus on women’s sizes for this release reflects the growing demand for inclusive, stylish footwear. The Nike Air Max 95 OG Pink Foam (SKU: HJ5996-001) is available exclusively in women’s sizes and retails for $180 USD. It will be available April 18th via SNKRS and select Nike Sportswear retailers.
