The worlds of Mugler and Gentler Monster collide in a new eyewear collaboration that pushes the boundaries of avant-garde design. Inspired by Mugler’s iconic 1997 “Les Insectes” haute couture collection, this futuristic line features two distinct silhouettes that embody the bold, innovative spirit of both brands.

The Spiral 01 frames exude intense energy, their angular lines a modern reinterpretation of Mugler’s ”Fourmis” eyewear. The Spiral 02, meanwhile, strikes a contemporary chord with its embossed details and sleek chrome logo adorning the temples. Together, these styles create a powerful aesthetic that feels at once classic and cutting-edge.

To celebrate the launch, a slick campaign shot by Theo Liu and starring models Georgia Palmer and Colin Jones pays homage to legendary visual innovators such as Helmut Newton and Manfred Thierry Mugler himself. The stark, striking images capture the essence of the collaboration – a fusion of fashion-forward thinking and uncompromising artistry.

The Mugler x Gentler Monster collection will be available on July 17th via each brand’s online and brick-and-mortar stores, as well as select multi-brand retailers around the world. In true Gentler Monster fashion, the release will be marked by special activations in Seoul and Shanghai, featuring kinetic sculpture installations that combine fashion, art and cutting-edge technology into an immersive experience.
