Held at the Espace Champerret in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, the Fall/Winter 2022 collection of Ludovic de Saint Sernin still has the same watchword: sexy.

Low waist, transparent tank tops, exposed underwear (for both men and women), jeans tattooed with the house logo in crystals, satin shorts, leather pants with the designer’s signature eyelet detail, and a t-shirt worn halfway up the sleeve on the shoulder, the collection remained true to his bold 2000s aesthetic – we talk so the Y2K aesthetic, a popular term on social media for the trend of young people, or nostalgics of the era, appropriating the clothing genres of the period.
“The starting idea is that this season I am my own muse”, said Ludovic de Saint Sernin.
Between the transparent knitwear and underwear, there were long, flowing silhouettes that were more akin to traditional “daywear“, but still with a sensual, genderless approach so dear to the designer.
