After a remarkable 20-year career in the world of modeling, top model and entrepreneur Liya Kebede finally becomes the cover star of Harper’s Bazaar US’ November 2020 issue. Captured on the rooftops of Paris, Liya is a vision before a vibrant yellow backdrop wearing a Dior jacket while gazing effortlessly down the lens of photographer Christopher Anderson.
For the cover story named ‘’The Staying Power of Liya Kebede’’, styled by Ludivine Poiblanc, Liya poses in labels such as Valentino, Proenza Schouler, JW Anderson, Hermès, Acne Studios, Bottega Veneta and Alexander McQueen.
In the accompanying story, Chew-Bose speaks to Kebede about her career, her upbringing and her many ‘’firsts’’, and unpacks her ‘’staying power’’ within fashion.
