Applying his astute eye for beauty, Zhang transformed Liu into a theatrical muse, shifting shapes in a dreamy cover story inspired by iconic Chinese literature – including ‘’Moonlight over the Lotus Pond’’ by Zhu Ziqing, ‘’A Waterfall of Purple Wisteria Vines’’ by Zong Pu and ‘’April Rhapsody’’ by Lin Huiyin. Stylist Audrey Hu dresses Liu in designs from labels such as Chanel, Noir Kei Ninomiya and more.
