In an intriguing creative alliance, Lily-Rose Depp and Troye Sivan have become the dual focus of Vogue Australia’s July 2023 edition. The stars of HBO’s “The Idol” radiate unadulterated elegance. Photographer Daniel Jackson captures their glamour, featuring Lily-Rose in a scintillating Chanel necklace and Troye in distinctive Tiffany & Co. earrings and necklace on the first cover.
Two solo covers further showcase their style; Lily-Rose, in an ethereal Chanel crochet ensemble, and Sivan in a sophisticated ensemble of a Thom Browne dress, a Dolce & Gabbana shirt and tie, and Cartier earrings.
For the cover story, Vogue Australia’s chief editor Christine Centenera, has them wearing designs from esteemed brands, including Alexander McQueen, Willy Chavarria, Loewe, Molly Goddard, Prada and Alaïa.
Creating their signature looks are industry veterans, with Sam Mcknight styling Lily’s hair, Sophie Roberts for Troye, and Isamaya Ffrench handling make-up. Their manicures are the art of Adam Slee. The atmospheric set design is curated by Tilly Power, and the whole production is directed by Charlotte Rose and Honor Hellon Production.
In conversations about her involvement in ‘’The Idol’’, Depp boldly acknowledges the show’s incendiary essence. She declares, “We are conscious that we’re creating something audacious, and we don’t plan on retreating from that. This intention was clear to me from the outset. I never aimed to create something conservative. It’s entirely acceptable if this show doesn’t resonate with everyone – it’s all right. I believe that truly exceptional art tends to be divisive“.
