Lanvin took over the Atelier des Lumières to present its Spring/Summer 2023 collection, in which Bruno Sialelli was directly inspired by spring, uniting ecology and craftsmanship, the house’s know-how.
As always, the archives of the fashion house and the rich creative universe of Jeanne Lanvin are sources of inspiration for Bruno Sialelli, at the helm of the house since 2019. Thus, naive and graphic patterns are drawn from archived gentlemen’s ties while striped suit linings are redesigned to become full-fledged pieces of the men’s dressing room.
This holiday-scented collection is an exchange between the raw and the refined. The impeccably crafted wool gazar creations for men and women are finished with a cut-out hem, combining precision and spontaneity, while the cotton shirts reveal a pure, waist-hugging cut that unfolds in complete freedom.
Spring influences, flowers have pride of place in the collection, sometimes printed, sometimes embroidered or embossed. As for the materials, they invite sensory discovery, encouraging touch and feel with shiny or powdered finishes, with leather, eel skin, glued cotton or silk tulle.
