Bruno Sialelli’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection for Lanvin was a lesson in the harmony of opposites. Based on the beauty of contradiction: softness versus ferocity, nostalgia versus modernism, dark versus light, opacity versus transparency, structure versus fluidity, the collection salutes the quintessential legacy of Jeanne Lanvin.

For Lanvin men, Sialelli offered this season toned suits, outerwear pieces in bright colors – most often combined with others in contrasting shades – Art Deco prints, faux fur jackets, as well as sumptuous ensembles with floral patterns that definitely do not go unnoticed.
And for women, the result was a mix of sport and couture with anoraks, faux furs and bold suits in crushed velvet or crisp leather. Voluminous and voluptuous silk lace dresses, silk and velvet draperies from the house’s archives, and impressive jewelry with ancient Egyptian influences – one of Jeanne Lanvin’s great passions – were also on display.
