Kenzo‘s Spring/Summer 2025 campaign is a captivating journey into the heart of Rio de Janeiro, where the brand’s latest collection comes to life amidst the city’s iconic streets and beaches. Artistic director Nigo masterfully captures the essence of Brazil, infusing the campaign with the country’s vibrant culture and infectious energy.

Through Johnny Dufort’s still photography and Frank Lebon’s moving imagery, every frame pulses with the movement and freedom that define Rio. The imagery captures the fluid movements of capoeira dancers, the warm glow of sunset over Ipanema, and the vibrant atmosphere of beach life. This unique blend of influences reflects Nigo’s ability to fuse heritage with modernity, creating a collection that resonates with the city’s dynamic spirit.

Key pieces from the Spring/Summer 2025 collection take center stage, highlighting Kenzo’s iconic designs. The Kenzo Chiku-Rin Camo, drawn from vintage kimonos and the house’s early collections, reinvents classic camouflage with a bamboo motif. Kenzo Weave, introduced for the Spring/Summer 2024 season, continues its evolution as the house’s emblematic monogram, adorning tailored silhouettes, textured denim and workwear staples.

Inspired by the traditional Japanese wrapping technique, the Kenzo Furoshiki bag is crafted from supple Italian leather, knotted and gathered in fluid folds. This season, a bold cracked leather variation adds a contemporary edge. Embellished mesh pieces, embellished with hand-embroidered beads and jewels, add a distinctive touch to fluid, summer-ready silhouettes.
