Jimmy Choo has partnered with Swarovski to launch a limited edition collection of Bon Bon handbags.
The capsule collection, created under the creative direction of Sandra Choi, features Swarovski crystals that add a touch of brilliance to the brand’s beloved mini bucket silhouette. Known for their playful yet sophisticated designs, Bon Bon handbags have been reimagined in five different styles.
Two of the designs feature a crystal lattice and satin base in gold and silver, embellished with approximately 3,400 Swarovski crystals. Two other styles are inspired by floral motifs and feature 5,050 crystals meticulously applied by master artisans over five days. Choi emphasized that the brand’s latest handbag collection is not just a functional accessory, but is meant to be cherished as a collectible work of art. By releasing the collection as a limited edition, Jimmy Choo highlights the uniqueness and exclusivity of the bags, ensuring that they stand out as rare and valuable items. Choi describes each handbag as a “wearable jewel,” emphasizing its beauty and craftsmanship and positioning it as a meaningful investment in style and artistry.

The collection underscores Jimmy Choo’s commitment to artisanal craftsmanship. Earlier in 2024, the brand partnered with Paris-based embroidery house Les Ateliers Vermont, known for its work with prestigious LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton brands.
“Crystals have a transformative power – it’s all about how they are cut, their shape, and the way they reflect and refract light,” Choi explained. “At the heart of Jimmy Choo is this idea of multifaceted glamour, and the Bon Bon embodies it perfectly.”
Since introducing handbags in 2004, Jimmy Choo has continued to highlight accessories alongside footwear, featuring both prominently in global campaigns. The Bon Bon bags are designed as mini bucket bags, ideal for carrying small items such as sweets, which is how they got their name.
