Jenna Ortega, the leading actress in “Wednesday” and “Scream VI“, adds radiance to the cover of Elle US’ April 2023 issue. The stunning cover was photographed by Felix Cooper and features Ortega wearing a stunning look from the luxury brand Loewe.
For the cover story, stylist Patti Wilson curated a selection of designs from top fashion brands including Ferragamo, Simone Rocha, Prada, Coperni, JW Anderson, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino and Alaïa. The hair styling was expertly done by Ward Stegerhoek, with make-up by Marcelo Gutierrez and a beautiful manicure by Honey.
The set design for the shoot was expertly executed by Andy Harman, with production by Heather Robbins and Mary Goughnour at CLM.
Despite her success on-screen, Jenna Ortega remains grounded in her personal life. She enjoys spending her free time in record stores and antique shops, finding solace in the anonymity these places provide. Jenna’s introverted nature and close-knit circle of friends reflect a desire to maintain a sense of authenticity amidst the demands of her career.
Ortega’s rise to fame has been marked by an unwavering determination and a willingness to adapt. Her early roles on ‘’Jane the Virgin’’ and Disney’s ‘’Stuck in the Middle’’ required her to be more expressive than she typically is, but she embraced these opportunities as stepping stones toward her ultimate goal of working in the industry. Today, Ortega is more selective about her projects, focusing on roles that challenge her and allow her to grow as an actress.
As she looks to the future, Jenna Ortega is not content to simply follow in the footsteps of those who came before her. She has her sights set on projects that will allow her to continue pushing the boundaries of her craft. For example, she is set to star in the upcoming crime thriller, Finestkind, directed by Brian Helgeland. Helgeland praises Ortega’s ability to “nail it in two takes“, comparing her to a “knife thrower at a carnival“.
Despite her accomplishments, Ortega remains humble and driven by a desire to constantly improve. As she gears up for the second season of Wednesday, she plans to take a month off to recharge and explore the world. This decision reflects her commitment to self-care and her understanding of the importance of balance in her life.
