This year is set to witness another spectacular collaboration between the high-end French fashion label, Jacquemus, and the iconic sports apparel brand, Nike.
Following the phenomenal success of their pink and blue Air Humara designs that marked the Summer of 2022, this season they reunite to bring a fresh lease of life to the classic Air Force 1 silhouette. The Jacquemus x Nike J Force 1 Low reflects a blend of sophistication and the inimitable spirit of the AF1, demonstrating the power of imaginative design in footwear.
Post the release of tantalizing close-up teaser images in February, the initial comprehensive pictures of the sneaker have made their debut on an eBay listing, revealing a design that is truly one-of-a-kind. Initial teaser images hinted at white leather uppers, a mesh tongue, metallic lace dubrae adorned with the unique “JF1” insignia, and leather aglets graced by the Swoosh logo. However, what remained a mystery until now is the distinctive woven sole unit that sports an intriguing wraparound nylon cording.
The J Force 1 Low maintains the legacy of the previous Jacquemus x Nike collaboration by carrying over key design elements, such as co-branding on the debossed heel tab and subtle metallic Swooshes on the side panels, reminiscent of the Humaras.
As of now, only a white variant has been subtly hinted at, though there are whispers of a potential black edition being introduced to the collection.
The Jacquemus x Nike J Force 1 Low “White Woven” is expected to hit the market in the coming months. Retailing at a price of $170 USD, the sneaker will be available through Nike’s official channels and a selection of exclusive retailers.
