Hong Chau, the 2023 Oscar nominee for her role in “The Whale“, illuminates the cover of Porter magazine’s May 29th, 2023 issue. On the cover, photographed by Sebastian Sabal-Bruce, Hong Chau is captured clad in a stunning Alaïa hooded bodysuit, coupled with Bottega Veneta pants and belt. Her audacious accessories include a Spinelli Kilcollin ear cuff, Maria Tash hoop earring, Repossi earring, Persée necklace, and a Foundrae bracelet, each piece contributing to the overall aesthetic.
Stylist Natasha Royt orchestrates the ensemble for the cover story, named ‘’In The Stars…’’, integrating couture and contemporary with labels like Stella McCartney, Grlfrnd, ATM Anthony Thomas Melillo, Agolde, Loulou Studio, Maison Margiela and Alexander McQueen. Each outfit radiates Hong Chau’s diverse style palette.
The artistic vision for the shoot was guided by art director Michael Kelly, pairs flawlessly with the seamless production from A La Fresca. Jenny Kim works her magic on Hong Chau’s hair, with make-up maestro Frank B enhancing her natural beauty. Completing the aesthetic is a refined manicure by Mo Qin.
