Giorgio Armani has announced that he will present his Spring/Summer 2025 womenswear collection in New York, moving away from the traditional debut in Milan. The event, scheduled for October 17th, will coincide with the grand opening of Armani’s redesigned building on iconic Madison Avenue.

The revamped structure will house an array of luxury offerings, including residential units, an elegant Armani/Ristorante and stunning new boutiques for both Giorgio Armani and Armani/Casa.

The move marks a departure from the usual fashion week schedules, with Armani opting out of Milan Fashion Week (September 17th-23rd) and forgoing participation in New York Fashion Week (September 6th-11th). However, fans of the designer’s work can rest assured that the Fall/Winter 2025 collection will grace the runways of Milan in February, according to the usual schedule.

In a statement, the Armani company emphasized the designer’s pragmatic and conscientious approach, explaining that he has chosen to focus on celebrating this important new opening and his return to New York after an 11-year hiatus.

The fashion show is expected to be followed by a glittering party attended by many of Armani‘s longtime friends and associates who have supported him throughout his career.

Armani’s last major event in New York was the One Night Only event in 2013, and his return promises to be an equally spectacular affair.
