The Spring/Summer 2023 campaign by Fursac showcases the quintessence of French menswear. The direction by Lolita Jacobs and Jean-Baptiste Talbourdet captures the spirit of Gauthier Borsarello, who has been at the forefront of the French house’s creative vision since January 2021.
With a focus on the open seas, the campaign delves into the French men’s wardrobe, embracing a love for speed, warmth, and modernized interpretations of classic sailor and racing driver attire. Through the lens of Olivier Simile, the embodiment of the Fursac man, model Baptiste Radufe, is depicted as possessing a playful yet sophisticated air. He is at ease in pieces that are precisely tailored with carefully chosen materials, resulting in timeless and accurate fashion choices.
The Fursac man exudes confidence and style in any setting, be it under the Corsican sun, on scorching asphalt, or amidst the neon lights of Paris. The collection’s standout pieces include a vibrant yellow quilted jacket, a sleek green leather jacket, a sandy waxed trench coat, a shawl collar velvet blazer, a bold cherry red tuxedo, and 1960s-inspired natural leather sandals.
The Fursac house continues to challenge the norms of traditional menswear, presenting fresh and dynamic reinterpretations of classic styles. Regardless of the setting, the Fursac man is poised, elegant, and prepared for any exciting opportunity that may come his way.
