The latest collaboration between Converse and visionary designer Feng Chen Wang, the Converse Chuck 70 2-in-1, a conceptual ox-cut sneaker, is not just a shoe, but a statement of bold innovation and style.
More than five years ago, during New York Fashion Week, Feng Chen Wang captured the attention of the cultural and creative world by sharing her vision of the canvas sneaker. It was a deconstructed, hand-painted Chuck 70 that made its debut in the Spring/Summer 2019 show. Today, this creative partnership has evolved, reinventing the Chuck 70 2-in-1 in an ox-cut, low-top version.

Feng Chen Wang’s approach to design is nothing short of daring. It fuses form and style in a unique way. Following the brand’s penchant for layering techniques and echoing his previous collaborations with Converse, the silhouette is crafted with a dual concept in mind. It features a double-layered canvas, a thick, divided sole that is divided into four segments. This design not only illustrates Wang’s concept of duality, but also enhances the flexibility of the model.
This model will grace the runway at Paris Fashion Week later this month.
Available in two colorways, the Converse x Feng Chen Wang 2-in-1 will be released on February 6th, 2024 at converse.com and select retailers.
