Eva Green exudes sophistication on the cover of the November 24th, 2023 issue of Madame Figaro. Photographed by Tom Munro, Green is a vision in red, holding two dogs and embodying elegance in a Dolce & Gabbana trench coat, complemented by Alexander McQueen earrings.
The cover story, styled by Barbara Baumel, shows Green in a variety of high-fashion labels, including Sportmax, Cadolle, Barbara Bui, Etam, Falke, Valentino and Celine by Hedi Slimane. The look is completed with hair by Perrine Rougemont, make-up by Harold James and manicure by Adrienne.
Renowned for her spellbinding performances in such films as ”Dark Shadows” and ”Miss Peregrine’s Home for Strange Children,” Eva Green’s real-life persona differs greatly from her onscreen persona.
In an interview with Madame Figaro, Green admits to being a private person. She is uncomfortable with the promotional aspects of her profession. “I’m always looking for fulfillment and inner peace, but I’m slowly learning to come out of my fog,” she confides.

In her latest role in “The Three Musketeers: Milady,” Green explores a character that is both physically demanding and emotionally complex. She expresses a desire to play more relatable characters, moving away from the stereotypical “mysterious and deadly” roles. “If a script starts with ‘mysterious and fatal,’ I want to shut it down immediately…with a few exceptions,” she notes, emphasizing her desire for more grounded roles.
Green’s approach to her craft is deeply personal. She sees acting as a way to escape and explore different facets of human emotion and experience. “I never over-intellectualize; for me, it’s about the pleasure of ‘playing,’ like a child,” she explains, emphasizing the joy and liberation she finds in acting.
Despite her success, Green remains grounded and connected to nature, finding solace in the tranquility of natural environments. She shares her love for her dogs, describing them as “pieces of my soul,” showing her affectionate and nurturing side.
