EGONlab, the avant-garde fashion house helmed by Florentin Glémarec and Kevin Nompeix, has taken an unexpected turn for their Spring/Summer 2025 collection, opting for a digital lookbook unveiling in London rather than a traditional Paris runway show. This bold move, influenced by scheduling conflicts with the Olympic Games, allowed the brand to reconnect with its roots and draw inspiration from the British capital’s vibrant creative scene.
The Spring/Summer 2025 collection seamlessly blends EGONlab’s signature aesthetics with fresh, innovative elements. Standout pieces include their iconic wide-shouldered tailoring and pleated apron skirts, reimagined for the modern fashion enthusiast. A nod to previous seasons comes in the form of a faux-armor suit adorned with intricate blue porcelain motifs, showcasing the brand’s commitment to artistic expression.
Embracing the spirit of London, the collection incorporates distinctly British influences. Luxurious Lurex jersey separates feature argyle and tartan-inspired prints, while the introduction of mocassins marks EGONlab’s expansion into footwear. This fusion of Parisian chic and British eccentricity creates a unique and captivating aesthetic.
A collaboration with WorldNet transportation company adds an unexpected twist to the collection. T-shirt-cum-shirt hybrids boast fictional college crests, while a clever set mimics a post-match soccer uniform, complete with realistic mud stains. These playful elements demonstrate EGONlab’s ability to merge high fashion with streetwear sensibilities.
