Dior has announced the staging of its Dior Cruise 2025 (Resort 2025) show for June 3rd, 2024.
The House, a beacon of French fashion and elegance, has remained tight-lipped about the geographical canvas for this sartorial spectacle. Past locations have been as diverse as Mexico City and Athens, each chosen for its unique cultural tapestry that Dior weaves into its collection narrative.
“For Maria Grazia Chiuri, cruise shows are essential creative events and great opportunities to celebrate beauty and the plurality of cultures. Inviting both discovery and escape, the house will unveil the Dior Cruise 2025 collection on June 3rd, 2024, in the heart of a still undisclosed destination,” Dior said.

Under the aegis of LVMH, Dior’s events have grown in both opulence and influence. Maria Grazia Chiuri, at the helm of Dior’s womenswear, has been a torchbearer for blending fashion with local craftsmanship, heralding not just a show but a cultural dialogue. The results reverberate beyond the runways, often sparking tourism and spotlighting regional artistry.
The allure of a Dior Cruise show is multifaceted; it’s a hub where fashion aficionados and the curious converge. Chiuri’s previous collaborations have not only showcased the intrinsic beauty of Dior‘s pieces, but also amplified the cultural resonance of the chosen destination. This harmony of place and presentation has become a cornerstone of the Cruise collection’s identity.
While the exact location remains a closely guarded secret, the expectation is for a location as stunning and storied as the collection itself. The brand has deftly navigated post-pandemic waters, increasing its physical presence with its Pre-Fall 2023 show in Mumbai last March and presenting an encore of its Fall/Winter 2023 collection in Shenzhen, China, in July.
The announcement comes on the heels of Louis Vuitton declaring May 23rd, 2024 for its own Cruise show, setting the stage for a month of luxury travel through the lens of high fashion.
