Dior‘s latest make-up collection, “Plan de Paris,” is a stunning tribute to the city that has long been the Maison’s muse. This fall, the iconic fashion house invites beauty enthusiasts on an enchanting journey through the heart of Paris, celebrating the essence of the city that has inspired Christian Dior since the beginning of his legendary career.
The collection is inspired by the nostalgic “Plan de Paris” pattern, a charming line drawing of Paris seen from above that first appeared on a Dior silk scarf in the 1950s. Now, for the first time, this exquisite design adorns the House’s make-up creations, thanks to the visionary work of Peter Philips, Dior’s Creative and Image Director for Make-up.
The ”Plan de Paris” collection is a shimmering ode to the City of Lights, with a palette of silver, gold, pink and blue that captures the vibrant energy of Paris by day and by night. Each hue reflects the city’s enduring beauty, from the soft glow of the morning sun on the Seine to the twinkling lights of the Eiffel Tower at midnight.
The ‘’Plan de Paris’’ collection is not only a celebration of Paris, but also a tribute to the enduring legacy of Christian Dior. From the storied Rue de Faubourg Saint-Honoré, where Dior first met his lucky star, to the iconic 30 Avenue Montaigne, the birthplace of his couture house, the collection pays homage to the Maison’s roots and the city that has been its constant source of inspiration.
