Nicolas Di Felice’s Courrèges Spring/Summer 2025 menswear and Resort 2025 (Cruise 2025) womenswear collections transport us to the sun-drenched shores of Amorgos, offering a refreshing escape from Paris’ endless rain. Drawing inspiration from his own summer wardrobe, the designer masterfully incorporates elements of diving and hiking gear into his signature minimalist aesthetic.
Functional details take center stage, as Di Felice reimagines classic pieces with a modern twist. Trenchcoats, peacoats, and pants feature belt-like waistbands, while oversize belt loops create graphic cutouts on crisp white shirts and black tanks. The designer’s millimetric approach to pattern-cutting is evident in the “magic square” mesh tops that section the torso with precision.
The collection’s classic palette of black, white, red, and beige is complemented by honest fabrics like cotton, wool, denim, leather, and suede. Di Felice’s attention to detail shines through in the practical yet stylish footwear, with slip-on diving shoes rendered in napa leather and Neoprene.
Unisex dressing takes a cue from Courrèges’ 1970s archives, with glossy vinyl jackets and bibbed tops paired with kicky pants. The designer’s holiday snapshots of arrow-painted stones on Greek trails even make their way onto the mood board, inspiring band detailing on select pieces.
